Document Source Adam Matthew, Collection Walter Gordon
This Hitler Jugend Knife was captured and liberated by Sgt Walter Gordon and brought back home as a War Souvenir. Walter Gordon was a non-commissioned officer (NCO) with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division during World War Two.
It’s maybe not a hell of a militaria item but this one is at least one original captured in Normandy 1944.
